Atlanta's New Post Office Building, Located on Spring Street. Hunter, Forsysth and Mitchell Streets. Being erected at a cosst of $2,975,000. One of the most pretentious Post Office Buildings in the United States. Floor space totals more than 5 acres and will have some 200 Federal office units. Located next to the Spring Street Terminal, mail was transferred by a railroad network. It later became a Federal office building although never an "official" courthouse.  The Court of Appeals relocated to this location from March 20, 1985, until March 16, 1987, for renovations. The Court occupied chambers here but held oral arguments in the Richard Russell Building.</text>
