The property was donated to the church under the restriction that it remain for religious purposes. The donor's grandaughter challenged the sale. Shockingly, she lost. Building is still in use. Building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 3, 1998. In 1992 It was renamed the Frank M. Johnson Jr. Federal Building and United States Courthouse.</text>
