Print reads, "Savannah is rich in historical lore, is a city of 92,000 people and is known for its beautiful buildings, semi-tropical verdure, 24 municipal parks and 100 mile boulevard chain, nine suburban resorts, golf and outdoor sports, modern hotels and varied amusements. The climate is ideal, the city is both winter and summer resort, and the Atlantic Ocean contributes surf bathing unexcelled in the South, it is indeed "Savannah, the Southern Key to Land and Sea.". The structure, originally designated as the U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, was later renamed the Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse. By July 30 1899, all departments of the post office were in the new government building. It also housed the U.S. Courts, the U.S. Engineers, and the U.S. Weather Bureau.  Message on the back: Dear Mrs. Gable. will write you as soon as I feel better. The Hill-Augusta, Ga c/o Goodwich Shops. Built in 1916, the building was extended in the rear in 1936. It received interior upgrades in 1960 and 1971. It was vacated and extensively rehabilitated from 1992-1996. The building ceased to be a combined post office-courthouse in 1973 when the court became its exclusive tenant. Still used as a court facility.</text>
