Post card of the U. S. Post Office, Athens, GA. No. KA-17. This Post Office building is constructed of Georgia marble and the architecture is the same as many buildings and homes of this city. The architecture is different from any other post office in the United States. This building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on Sep. 10, 2014.
