Description

Post card of the Post Office in Miami, Fla. No. 17068. Between 1931 and 1937 the building was occupied by the Federal Arts Project. In 1937, the building became the First Federal Savings & Loan Assn. of Miami. The bank moved in 1973 and the building was renamed the AmeriFirst Building. It sold in 2014 for $11 million and is now the Miami Center for Architecture and Design. It was entered on the National Register of Historic Places on Jan. 4, 1989.
