Description

Post Card of the United States Post Office in Panama City, Florida. No. 104-P. No. 15.665. This downtown station post office located at 421 Jenks Avenue was built between 1937 and dedicated on April 29, 1938. It was built with Treasury Dept. funds. It housed the Post Office and other federal agencies. It was never a courthouse. This post office still in use. The Federal Courthouse is now at 30 West Government Street. Message on back: 8-18-45. did intend to write last nite but Conner failed to come out. I will leave here Mon. around noon. I think bus arrives around 4. Guess I'll get home before this. Hazel.
