Description

Post card of the US Post Office and Federal Building in Gainesville, Ga. No. G-25. No. E-6017. 121 Spring St., SE. The Post Office was enlarged in 1936 when the four story Federal Building and courthouse annex was built. The Post Office moved in 1967. The two buildings, including the connecting building between them, now constitute the federal courthouse. It was placed on the National Register on Jan. 24, 1974.
