Post Card of US Court House and Custom House, US Post Office at the left, Mobile, Ala. No. 7A-H2625. Named the John Archibald Campbell US Courthouse in 1981 for the associate justice of the US Supreme Court and Assistant Secretary of War for the Confederate States. Building was entered on the National Register of Historic Places on Oct. 8, 2008. Building is still in use. The US Post Office built in 1916, now adjacent to the 1934 courthouse did not contain court facilities but the building is usually included in the post cards.
